Those Days
Pencil on paper

This is a series of works created in my hometown. Since starting university, I have been away from home, and the once vivid memories have gradually faded from my view. In this state, I began to realize that memory no longer exists as a coherent narrative—it becomes fragmented into dots, lines, and planes, drifting through the cracks of time and space. When I squint my eyes, those past scenes resurface in a defocused form—everything appears broken, indescribable.

After these reflections, I began to attempt to visualize these fragmented memories. I deconstructed the scenes into elongated lines, like falling rain, and laid them out across the paper—until the resulting images became unrecognizable from their original forms. I deliberately emphasized the shadows in each composition, as they hold a special meaning for me: they serve as a bridge between fantasy and reality.
